RESTORING HOPE

Vtchaco Orphans Empowerment advocate for the welfare of orphans, and women who live in a vulnerable situation, so that they can imagine a future of opportunity for themselves.

BUILDING SUPPORT

All vulnerable kids have something in common: they have no reliable social safety networks to turn to when they lose a parent, get sick, or encounter trauma. We restore hope into their lives by establishing support systems. Including those who are:

  • Referred to as social orphans even though one or both their parents may still be alive but who have been unable to perform parental duties because of illness or acute poverty among other reasons

  • Orphaned by the death of one or both parents

  • Abandoned by parents

  • living with a disability

  • Affected by armed conflicts

  • Malnourished due to extreme poverty

  • Abused by parents or their caregivers

  • Marginalized, stigmatized or discriminated against

We believe they need reliable safety networks, which include people, like you, who will advocate for them. Furthermore, they need medical care and school supplies to promote their overall health and well-being, including their education. These safety networks and tools will allow them to become the best version of themselves. If a community is safe, supportive, and teeming with opportunities, then it will have the elements that the vulnerable need to ultimately thrive. We are dedicated to working with them and their communities to foster hope, create global and lasting impact.
